The Dangote Refinery has reinstated several engineers who were dismissed last month following a dispute with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN).
According to reports, the affected engineers have now been redeployed to various project sites across northern states, including Borno and Zamfara. The decision marks a significant step toward resolving tensions between the company and the union after weeks of industrial unrest that disrupted operations.
Sources close to the management revealed that the redeployment aims to maintain smooth operations while ensuring equitable workforce distribution across the refinery’s expanding projects nationwide.
