Police in Benue state have rescued the wife of the Benue state commissioner for Lands and survey, Mrs Ann Unenge and her driver who were abducted by gunmen four days ago at the the High Level Area of Makurdi town.
They were rescued by the elite squad of operation Zelda, led by Chief Superintendent of Police, Justin Rindia.
Governor Samuel Ortom who received the rescued victims, warned all local collaborators of kidnap syndicate that they face a similar faith as the three kidnappers who were k3lled by the police during the rescue operation in a suburb of the state capital.
He commends the police for their professionalism and urges the team to ensure the rest of the gang are apprehended.
