Condolence Visit: Gov. Okpebholo Pledges Government Support to Family of Late Special Adviser Compassionate

Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo said his administration will continue to support the late Alhaji Danjuma Garba’s family ensuring that his legacy is kept alive.

Gov Okpebholo made this known after a condolence Visit to the family of his late Special Adviser on Arewa Matters Alhaji Danjuma Garba in Benin City.

The governor said the late Special Adviser is a dedicated and passionate public servant who is interested in the growth and development of Edo State and has contributed tirelessly to the peace and unity of the State.

He noted that late Alhaji Garba left behind a huge vacuum because of what he stood for, as he did not just serve the Arewa Community alone but served all of Edo people.

“Late Alhaji Danjuma Garba has left very big shoes behind. Danjuma is not just for the Arewa Community alone but for all of us in Edo State. Because he is dedicated and passionate about the development of the State that was why I appointed him as SA on Arewa matters.

“Only Allah has the power to give and take. We don’t know why Allah called him home, he may have an assignment for him”.

In furtherance of the education of the children of late Alhaji Garba. He said”We will support the schooling of the loved ones he left behind and ensure they continue their education”.

The chairman of Arewa Community Alhaji Badamasi Saleh who spoke on behalf of the family commended governor Monday Okpebholo for the love shown to the Arewa Community in Edo State assuring him that they will continue to support his administration to succeed in all it set out to achieve for Edo people.

He appealed to the governor to assist in the education of the late Alhaji Garba’s family.

“You are the first governor of Edo State to show love to the Arewa Community and we are ready to surpass whatever achievement he has achieved for your administration. Just call on us anytime we will answer you because we have trusted you as you have made our life easier in Edo State”.
