Emaudo Police Station Commissioned in Ekpoma to Boost Security

On February 26, 2026, the newly constructed Emaudo Police Station in Ekpoma was officially commissioned. The facility was built by Chief Patrick Agbator, popularly known as Chosen, a native of the Emaudo community, business tycoon, and philanthropist. The project forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security infrastructure and enhance effective policing across Edo State.

At the commissioning ceremony, the station was handed over to the Commissioner of Police, Edo State, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc. The facility comes equipped with operational assets aimed at improving mobility and service delivery, including a Toyota Sienna vehicle, a Toyota Hilux patrol vehicle, a motorcycle for rapid response operations, and a generator set to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.

The event was attended by high chiefs, community elders, and top government officials from Ekpoma, Emaudo, and surrounding areas, marking a significant milestone in the state’s security architecture.

The establishment of the Emaudo Police Station is expected to enhance rapid response, increase community safety, and strengthen law enforcement presence in the region.
