Edo Broadcasting Service Redeployment sees Suleiman Aledeh moved to the Edo State Orientation Agency as DG, while Festus Alenkhe becomes Acting MD.
The Edo State Government wishes to inform the public that Governor, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the redeployment of the Managing Director of the Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS), Mr. Suleiman Aladeh, to the Edo State Orientation Agency. He will serve as the pioneer Director-General of the agency with immediate effect.
Consequently, Mr. Festus Alenkhe will serve as Acting Managing Director of the Edo Broadcasting Service. He will oversee the station’s operations pending the appointment of a substantive Managing Director.
This decision forms part of the government’s ongoing administrative reforms. Specifically, the reforms aim to improve resource management and strengthen institutional capacity across key sectors of the state’s administration.
Furthermore, the redeployment reflects the government’s confidence in Mr. Aladeh’s professional expertise and leadership capacity. The Orientation Agency plays a vital role in civic engagement, values promotion, and public communication across Edo State. Therefore, the government believes he is well-positioned to advance its mandate.
