The Federal Executive council has approved contracts for the rehabilitation of Warri and Kaduna refineries at 1.484 billion dollars.
The breakdown shows that 897.6 million dollars is earmarked for the Warri refinery and 586.9 million dollars for Kaduna refinery.
The Minister of State for Petroleum Chief Timorese Sylva says the full completion of the rehabilitation of Warri and kaduna refineries will be carried out in 3 phases.
The council also approved the acquisition of 20% minorities take by the NNPC in dangote petroleum and Petrochemical refinery with the sum of 2.76billion dollars.
The Minister of Education says that the continued negotiation with bandits especially after every kidnapped attempt further empowers the groups, hence the decision of Federal government to stop negotiations with kidnappers.
