The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has stepped up efforts to alleviate the traffic gridlock along the Abuja–Lokoja Road. The Corps Marshal announced the deployment of additional officers and tow trucks to address the ongoing congestion and ensure the swift removal of any obstructions.
The heavy traffic is primarily attributed to increased vehicle movement, ongoing road construction, and the behavior of some drivers, who have been driving against traffic. The FRSC has urged motorists to cooperate with officers and exercise patience to ensure smoother traffic flow during this busy period.
