
Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Saturday paid a heartfelt condolence visit to his Kogi State counterpart, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his beloved father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
During the solemn visit, Governor Okpebholo offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the late patriarch’s soul, asking Almighty Allah to grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.
He also extended prayers for divine comfort and strength for the Ododo family, urging them to find solace in the noble life their father lived a life marked by unwavering faith, service to others, strong moral values, and commitment to community.
“Losing a parent is one of life’s most painful experiences,” Governor Okpebholo said. “But I pray that Governor Ododo and his family are comforted by the enduring legacies their father has left behind. May his memory continue to bless and inspire generations.”
The visit reflected both a gesture of friendship and solidarity between the two leaders during a time of personal loss and mourning.
