The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Internal Security, Garba Muhammad, has revealed that terrorists have issued threats to bomb the National Assembly complex.

According to him, the parliament building has recently faced a series of troubling security challenges, including theft, vandalism, and unauthorized infiltration.

Garba urged immediate action to strengthen the security architecture of the complex, describing it as a necessary and proactive step to protect lawmakers, staff, and visitors.

He emphasized that safeguarding the nation’s legislative institution is vital to preserving democracy and ensuring the continuity of governance in the face of rising security threats.
