A tragic incident occurred on the A1 Road, resulting in the death of a 36-year-old man. The victim was crossing the road with friends when an oncoming vehicle struck him, causing fatal injuries. His friends, however, escaped unharmed.

City Police Sergeant Filippus Kadhila confirmed the incident, stating that the victim’s next of kin have yet to be informed. Police investigations are currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
