CP Edo deploys officers and men as Muslim faithful celebrate 2023 EID-EL-KABIR urges them to adequately Police all places of worship, worshipers, and the entire state warns criminal elements to repaint or vacate the state
Edo State Police Command wishes to felicitate with all our Muslim brothers and sisters in the state during this period of 2023 Eid-El-Kabir celebration, which comes up on Wednesday 28th,Thursday 29th and Friday 30th June, 2023.
In light of this celebration, CP Mohammed A Dankwara, FBDFM, FCIMN, the Commissioner Of Police Edo State Command has deployed enough officers and men to all the Mosques, Salah praying grounds and recreational centers across the state as part of adequate security measures.
This strategic security arrangement was unveiled on Monday 26/06/2023 during the CP’s briefing with the officers at the state Command Headquarters Benin City, while he gave them a marching order to raid and smoke out criminals from their hide outs and black spots to ensure the protection of lives and property of our Muslim faithful and the general public for a peaceful and hitch-free celebration, before, during and after the Eil-El-Kabir celebration.
The CP warns the criminal elements to repaint from the act of crimes and criminality during the period of Eid-El-Kabir celebration or vacate the state as stringent punishment would be melted against anyone arrested for committing crime.
